About Savanna

Hi everyone,

Thank you for taking a ride on the Savanna train, and joining me on my journey towards madness.  Well, not exactly madness, but somewhere close to it.  You see, I’ve decided to follow my dreams and write a book! (insert nervous laughter here.)  And if any of you have ever gone down that road, you know what’s in store for me.  So instead of keeping the crazy locked up inside my head, I decided to create a blog – a public journal if you will, chronicling my real hopes and my true fears. My kids are kind of getting annoyed with me talking to myself, and my husband has had enough of my neurosis, so instead of whining and bitching to them, I now have you poor souls to deal with me.  Don’t you feel lucky?

The first time I sat down to write my book, I had a mini panic attack.  I knew what this story meant to me, and the fear of failing almost made me quit before I began.  It was a dear friend who talked me down, and quietly assured me that no matter my fears, I have to write my story.  So here I am, exposing myself  (get your mind out of the gutter) to the world.  As I take this journey, I hope to grow from my mistakes and share with you what little lessons I learn. And in return, I hope you will do the same.
Thank you for sharing this adventure with me.  Put on your seatbelts, it’s going to be a very bumpy ride.
All my best,
Savanna J.

  1. How witty!! I identify with every word. Insanity indeed – and yes so necessary for functioning. I wish you the best on your journey. The world needs more writers… lots and lots of writers. especially ones we can interact with.
